WHAT IS COREENA SCHWARTZ’S PURPOSE?

Coreena Schwartz focuses on career coaching, career counselling and HR consulting for individuals and businesses that empower the Client to awaken their full potential, harness their strengths, recognise their challenges and work out the journey ahead to do what they truly love and desire.

My goal is to support clients to achieve a satisfying and meaningful career. 

WHAT IS CAREER COACHING AND CAREER COUNSELLING?

A professional relationship that is designed to help the Client clarify their desired purpose, identify goals, remove barriers, develop strategies and implement actions. I will facilitate conversations and provide techniques to support and guide the Client on this journey, however the Client is responsible and accountable for implementing all actions as they control their own journey.

It may be a one-off appointment or ongoing sessions depending on the Client’s goals.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CAREER COACHING AND CAREER COUNSELLING?

There are many benefits in forming a partnership with a career coach. Some of these include:

  • Clarify your career direction and career goals.

  • A guided step-by-step process to assist you on your journey. It can be overwhelming and frustrating working this out on your own.

  • It is a quicker process than doing it on your own. I will keep you focused and accountable.

  • Self-awareness and seeing what you didn't see before. I can help you to see the bigger picture, empower you to become aware of your strengths and learn how to utilise them effectively to achieve your goals.

  • Remove personal blocks or other barriers. Sometimes we self-sabotage our plans or put blocks in place to stop us from achieving our goals. Other external factors may create barriers for you as well. I will help you to identity these challenges and work with you to remove them. 

  • Explore options that you may not have considered before.

  • Reduce anxiety associated with change. I will provide you with strategies on how to manage this.

  • Understand what Human Resources and Hiring Managers are looking for. I too have been on the 'other side' and will inform you on what they are and aren't looking for.

  • Improved balance including your work and personal life.

  • Discover the relationship you have with work and the resources you have to change or strengthen it.

  • A sense of achievement, confidence and true fulfilment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM COREENA AS A COACH?

I have extensive Human Resources experience and couple my corporate knowledge and experience with a holistic approach to support you in your journey.

As your coach, I agree to:​

  • Create a space of warmth, trust and open conversation whilst practicing active and non-judgemental listening.

  • Keep all conversations confidential, unless I advise otherwise.

  • Integrity being the basis of all my work. I will raise and challenge any unethical and immoral activities and actions.

  • Give you 100% of my focus during arranged sessions.

  • Give you any strategies, ideas and feedback in good faith.

  • Keep us focused during sessions to work towards your goals.

  • Respond to you as soon as possible outside of arranged sessions.

  • Not do your hard work for you. I will however empower you and support you to give you the best opportunity to achieve your goals.

WHAT INVESTMENT IS REQUIRED?

Participating in career coaching takes dedication. You need to be committed to your own journey and outcomes in order to achieve the goals you want.

It will be challenging, but the rewards will be truly fulfilling.

HOW CAN I BOOK A SESSION?

Bookings can be made via phone call, text, email, Facebook messenger or the website.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE MY FIRST CAREER COACHING OR CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION?

I will email you a Coach and Client Agreement for you to review and sign, a Client Questionnaire to complete, ask you for your current resume to gain information on your work history prior to our session and I will provide you with any information you require at that point.

Once the completed information is returned to me, I will then confirm your session. 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST CAREER COACHING OR CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION?

The first appointment is a discovery session to clearly identify your goals, discuss your work experience and to give you an understanding of the career coaching process.

From there, a session plan will be discussed and agreed to in order to shape future sessions. 

Flexibility will always be given as part of each session to cater to the Client's needs at that time. Often during sessions the Client may have realisations which could change the direction of the original session plan.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

A session may be cancelled by the Client or myself up to 24 hours in advance via phone call, text, email or Facebook messenger.

​

I may cancel a session within 24 hours of the booking where extenuating circumstances apply. I will reschedule the session or provide a refund if paid in advance.

​

Any session that is cancelled by the Client within 24 hours, and is not deemed as an extenuating circumstance, will be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.

​

Any session that is scheduled where the Client fails to attend will be charged at 100% of the agreed rate.

​

Any session where the Client is late by more than 10 minutes will be cancelled and charged at 100% of the agreed rate, unless extenuating circumstances apply and I agree to proceed with the session.

WHAT IS THE CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT?

All conversations will be confidential unless otherwise specified.

​

All information collected will be protected to ensure confidentiality.

​

Information will only be shared under the following circumstances:

  • Where laws, legislation and regulations are being enforced where I must release the requested information.

  • Where the Client threatens harm to myself, themselves or others; or is at risk to themselves or others in any other way and I am convinced that the Client may follow through with any other threats. I may report this to the Police or another relevant body.

WHERE ARE THE SERVICES HELD?

All sessions are held at my home business location in Wollongong, or via an online meeting or phone call, unless otherwise agreed to.


The Client may request for an alternate location. If agreed to, a travel fee will be applied based on the distance travelled.
